Kris Farias

Growing up on a farm caring for miniature donkeys, sheep, horses, and other assorted farm critters, Kris found her passion caring for animals. After graduating with a B.S. in Environmental Resource Management from Penn State in 1994, Kris worked as a veterinary assistant for a rural mixed-animal practice. She then moved on to become the Lead Veterinary Technician for a local humane society, where she worked while completing her certification as a Nuclear Medicine and CT Technologist. Kris worked in human medicine and health care for 20 years prior to returning to veterinary medicine as a tech for BPAC.

A dog trainer and behavior consultant in training, she shares her home with her husband, 3 pibbles, and 2 cats. Kris is also an avid dog sport competitor and AKC Canine Good Citizen, Trick Dog, Farm Dog, and Temperament Testing Evaluator.
