Dr. Erin Brennecke

Dr. Brennecke grew up locally and received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2013. She earned her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2017, then returned to Pittsburgh to complete a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at AVETS in Monroeville. Following the completion of her internship, she relocated to the South Hills to join the team at Bethel Park Animal Clinic in 2018.

As Medical Director, Dr. Brennecke oversees all aspects of patient care, ensuring that every pet receives the highest standard of treatment. She has discovered that ultrasonography is her happy place and enjoys providing high-quality, advanced diagnostics to BPAC patients. Her favorite aspect of working at Bethel Park Animal Clinic is her incredible colleagues who consistently challenge her to be a better doctor, mentor, and friend.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Brennecke enjoys spending time with her husband and son, engaging in a variety of outdoor activities such as camping and gardening. She shares her home with two happy golden retrievers, Nola and Flora, as well as a crotchety cat named Finnegan.
